Holiday Inn Express Atlantic City W Pleasantville by IHG

Not a bad room overall. Was to be Handicapped, wheelchair friendly. He could move around ok. The bathroom hadn't been completely cleaned and there was toothpaste spit left on the faucet and mirror. "Beach" was a bit stinky and smelled a bit more than your typical costal beach. Was sad to see there were so many buildings in the area in disrepair.

The hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the strip. The highway it's on puts you out right by the outlets. Parking is decent. It has a deck with 2 gazebo's out back looking out into an inlet. Service was very good and pleasant. The room was nice and clean. It had a refrigerator and microwave. We had a king size bed. We stayed the last weekend of February so it was probably considered the off season, but there were quite a few cars in the parking lot. The cost was excellent as far as I was concerned being that we weren't but a few minutes from everything. They served free breakfast in the morning. I'm quite sure the price will probably go up some for the summer. Overall it was a nice place to stay. They did have some noise rules and restrictions, so I'm guessing young people stay there in the summer considering the price and proximity to the boardwalk and strip

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and rooms at Holiday Inn. There is a beautiful bay area in the back that you can swim and windsurf in (they let you rent the equipment right there). There was a an incident where we got manually locked out of our room but it was their top priority to get this fixed and we were back into our room in 15 minutes. Service was very friendly about this and happy to help. I was also impressed with the free breakfast. I was expecting something small like bagels or yogurt but instead we got hot sausage gravy with biscuits, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, amongst other food. It was a great stay and the beds were very comfortable too.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel close to Atlantic City. Price and accommodations were perfect. Bed and pillows comfy. Bathroom and shower stocked with Dove products. Breakfast was ok but get there early if you want the good food. Free parking and a cute little beach area on the bay. Would stay again!

We stayed there from Friday to Monday over the holiday weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean (minus a couple small issues like mold spots on the telephone and a pretzel in the AC unit. Nothing worrisome.) The beds were comfortable. There were only 2 towels in our room for 4 of us which was mildly annoying, however when we asked at the front desk for more towels they were more than happy to give us extras. The main complaint I have is that we checked in at 3pm on Friday and got everything up to our room. We were getting settled in and about 4pm another family tried entering our room with a card key. When I answered the door, they told me the front desk had given them keys to our room and checked them into it. I told them that we had just checked in an hour ago and the desk made a mistake. The other family was very kind about it, but me having 2 small children was very unsettled. For the rest of the weekend we kept the door not only bolted, but blocked to prevent anyone from entering while we were there. We also had to worry while we were off site that we would come back to someone in our room. Housekeeping did not enter our room at all during our 4 day stay, which is fine, but garbage did start to pile up a bit. So just be aware that housekeeping will not be up-keeping anything in your room during your stay. The complimentary breakfast was great for what you would expect. They have all the regular things you would expect with a complimentary breakfast as well added bonuses such as sausage and eggs or sausage gravy and biscuits. They have a juice machine (the apple juice was empty everyday except our first one which our kids were not happy about). The beach area in the back is fairly small but nice enough! I do recommend wearing water shoes when you go exploring (they do have a sign posted which tells you to wear them) as there was a good deal of broken glass scattered about the beach in areas. My kids enjoyed exploring the sand, waters edge, and small tide pools. The location is actually really great! It is easy to get in and out off and is close driving proximity to Atlantic City and Ocean City. Overall, I would recommend this facility and would stay there again in the future!

Checked in with Juan , he made sure I got my preference- high floor away from elevator. It's been a long week and needed a pick me up. My view from the room is amazing. Faced out towards the beach. My team has been in over 130 IHG hotels this year. This location tops them all! Juan is so inviting, he made check in painless and there are plenty of Diamond Elite parking spots, grocery store is 3 miles up the road.. fantastic location. Casinos are not far or too close.. primo experience. Thank you

So far this place has really exceeded my expectations!!! It has a private beach, but its raining so we won't go. The pictures of the room online didn't do this place justice. Its a lot bigger than we thought. It has 2 bathrooms and essentially 2 bedrooms since it has a sofa bed. There is not a door dividing them, but there is a wall with an archway to go back and forth. The customer service I received was top notch. When we go places we always ask for an extra pillow and blanket. The person who checked us in was incredibly gracious and helpful. There are little chips and signs of previous water damage, but I can tell they worked hard to patch it up. I really like it here. They have free breakfast as well.

We brought a large group (sports teams) to stay overnight. It was a great place to stay. The front desk was helpful and curteous. The rooms were very nice. The breakfast was good. We loved the beach out back. Thank you to the management and sales team (Mae) for all your help planning this trip. We will be back.
